Traditionally, the primary color of Advent is Purple, the color of penitence and fasting as well as the color of royalty to welcome the Advent of the King. In the 3rd week (historically) or 4th week (as currently practiced in many religions), the Pink candle is lit to mark a time of joy. This set includes a brass ring holder and one box of traditional Advent taper candles that includes 3 purple and 1 pink.
